About

Scot Kleinman, the Astromanager LLC Principal, has a Ph.D. in astronomy from the University of Texas, a Masters of Business Administration from the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaii, a certificate in International Management from the Pacific Asian Management Institute, and multiple certifications in project and portfolio management.

He has 30+ years of experience leading and managing a variety of cutting edge astronomy projects including the Thirty Meter Telescope, Vera Rubin Observatory, the international Gemini Observatory, the Japanese national Subaru Observatory, the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, the Whole Earth Telescope, and ground-based prototyping for the Kepler space mission.
